The Foundation raised more than $500,000 to reforest the Park following devastating straight-line winds that tragically uprooted many of the trees in the Park. The Foundation replaced more than three quarters of the trees lost, planting large caliper trees to have immediate impact as well as installing a new pavilion for the interior of the picnic area.
