The Foundation, in 2014, added nighttime lighting to the Water Treatment Plant designed by Robert O. Derrick, which was restored by the Foundation in 2006, to showcase the magnificent architecture and stature of the building during evening hours. We also installed lighting at the Joy Bells site, which was restored by the Foundation in 1991, to illuminate the structure and highlight its significance as a landmark in Grosse Pointe.
